OVERVIEW
- Radiology Technician is a full-time diploma level Radiography course. Medical radiography is a broad term that covers several types of studies that require the visualization of the internal parts of the body using X- Ray techniques. Upon successful completion of course students can work as X-Ray Technician, Radiographer, CT Scan Technician, MRI Technician, Application Specialist, Radiologic Technician, and Faculty in Radiography program etc.
OBJECTIVES
- The objective of Radiology Technician program is to create qualified technical staff acquiring prescribed techniques in Radio Imaging technology to meet domestic & international demands. The basic principles, on hand training and demonstration of techniques will be acquired with associated hospitals and diagnostic centers.
Pedagogy
- The course pedagogy includes a comprehensive study in a manner aimed at being student friendly, Regular doubt clearing sessions, written assignments, guest lectures, quiz, chart/poster/model making are some of the measures for learning. Periodic and surprise tests are taken to apprise and evaluate the students. The practical includes live demonstrations, clinical postings and hospital visits which helps in holding the interest of the students.
