OBJECTIVES
Provide technical assistance to the surgeons during surgery.
Gain knowledge about OT setup for surgery, preparation and transportation of patients as well as manage documentation for surgery. Work in hospitals, surgical centres, ambulatory care facilities, and other healthcare settings where surgical procedures are performed.
Pursue careers as operation theatre technologists, surgical technologists, scrub technicians, or surgical assistants, where they play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of surgical procedures, contributing to positive patient outcomes and surgical team success.
